On Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we usually do something together as a family. Last year, we spent Mother’s Day at the zoo. Obviously that’s not an option this year. “Staying in” is the new “going out.”

So what do you gift a mom who spends most of her time locked at home?

Here are some ideas I put together at various price points that can all be purchased online. Hopefully they spark some ideas for you if you’re on the hunt for a gift!

Bath Caddy Tray to Elevate Her Relaxation

This bath caddy thingy is one of the best gifts Kristopher has ever given me. I love it and use it all the time. I take a lot of baths, and this desk holds my laptop if I’m working (yes, I work in the bath), my wine if I’m relaxing, my book if I’m reading, and all of the above if I’m doing a little bit of everything.

A Frother So She Can Make Her Lattes at Home

I have a frother attached to my coffee machine, but here’s a stand alone one with good reviews. If you have a mom who is missing her fancy coffee shop drinks, this would be a great gift so she can easily make her own at home!

A Yoga Mat to Start or Elevate Her At-Home Practice

I have a few yoga mats I prefer for different kinds of practice (you can check out all my favorites in this blog post), but if I were buying one for someone to use for a gentle at-home practice, I’d probably go for the Jade Harmony. Yes, it’s an investment. But if Mom is serious about her yoga practice, it’s well worth it so she doesn’t slip and slide in her down dog.

An At-Home Replacement to the Nail Salon

If you are shopping for a mom who is missing the nail salon, this is a great gift. I personally use the Static Nails Liquid Glass polish, but I’ve heard great things about the press-on nails. Yes, press-on nails. Although they call them “pop-on nails” now because maybe that sounds more modern? Supposedly they last up to 18 days, though I’ve heard a week is more realistic, and they can be reused! Use my referral link to get $5 off your first purchase.

Basic Tie Dye Loungewear for… Well… Lounging

Tie dye sets are really trendy and the Basic B in me wants one of these. Would pair perfectly with a monogrammed coffee mug lol. I originally found them on Amazon, but they weren’t shipping until June/July. Appears to be true to size.

A Cool Mama Tee

Am I a fashion blogger now? I’m obsessed with this AC/DC style Mama tee on Etsy. They have several colors! I’d probably go for one of the blues but this pink is cute too.

Fancy Bath Supplies for a Luxurious Treat

A few months ago, I discovered Buff City Soap, a local soap shop, and I’m in love! I was bummed when I moved away from Kansas City that there were no Lush stores in Memphis, but honestly this shop is much better, and they have an online shop! I use their face bars, body bars, bath bombs and shower oil. You can’t go wrong.

Garmin Watch for a Health-Conscious Mom

This is the most expensive item on the list. I recently switched from an older Apple Watch to the Garmin Venu and I’m pleased with the change! The Venu is $50 off for Mother’s Day which is a great sale, and I also love the look of the Vivomove. I personally think the Garmin is a better option than the Apple Watch if you’re shopping for a mom who is into fitness/health and especially if she’s into running. I’m not much of a runner anymore but I do appreciate all the health features packed on this thing! I’ll share a full review/comparison soon.

Boojie Face Mask Because Safety Can Be Stylish

Pandemic meets fashion. Yes. There are several mask makers out there. I encourage you, when you’re shopping, to ensure they are made ethically! Here are some of my favorites I’ve seen online. The one pictured is Onzie.

Honestly the best gifts of all are free. Let mom sleep in. Bring her breakfast in bed, or plan a backyard picnic. Fun, out-of-the-ordinary experiences can be had in ordinary places (like our homes).

I hope you are healthy, safe, and planning a love-filled Mother’s Day in.
